Time flies

Today was awesome. After 3 crappy weeks of crappy problems, finally, a good day.

I wrote the above line on Friday, the last day of school. But then I got lazy and stopped blogging.

Anyway, remembering why the day was awesome......

Well it wasn't the fact that is was the last day of school. I will miss form 1. Met nice people, got involved in things I like doing, didn't have any major mess ups.

Anyway, it was an awesome day because of three awesome (unexpected) people who were kind enough to help me. Just that simple act made my day many times better. Thanks, Xin Jing, Yi Rou and Aziza.

Then the day became even more awesome-er when I recieved the 2nd place medal for Chess in the hall. Xin Yen got first (she totally beat the living daylights out of me. No one stood a chance. She's way too good for any of us.) and Naeem got 3rd.

After that, we had reccess. The day grew awesomer-ish, Shaan was kind enough to give me a pack of Twinkies (or is it Twinkles?). Shared it with Sue, Alim, Xin Yen, Preveena and Jac who happened to be nearby when I opened it. I remember, when I was about to give Sue her share, Preveena had taken her second helping and I noticed the pack was empty. Just as I was about to ask her not to eat it, she ate it. The timing of it made me laugh.

Afterwards, there was no duty, so I wandered around the school with Alim and Sue for awhile. They insisted on taking pictures, so we did. Unfortunately, no samples here. Yet. (They say a picture says a thousand words. I'm pretty sure I can do a thousand words. Maybe later)

Once reccess was over, we went to the hall.

Shonia: Thank God you're here! Go arrange chairs (well, she didn't say those exact words, but these were the words that were interprated by my brain)
Luke: ???

We carried the benches to the back.

Another awesome part of the day: As I was struggling to carry a bench by myself, a random form 2 guy named Wy Keat (I remember) offered to help me carry the bench. Y'know, all these small things make me happy. Thanks dude. He didn't even have to, but he did.

After all the struggles of moving chairs and benches, the 'majlis' for the retiring teachers began.

I can't honestly say I will miss the two teachers retiring, since I do not really know them.

But the performances were awesome. 2 Teratai's and 1 Kenanga's performance is a personal favourite. All of the performances were overall awesome. Tong Hua was nice, and Soo Ling's solo performance was amazing as usual. There were many more, all of them nice.

To sum it up, the day was awesomely awesome. Will never forget it.

For the sake of repetition: AWESOME
