"Can we put the form 1's in the back? They're so friggin tall!"

Ahh yes, the throat-hurting performance we had to do on Thursday and Friday. Its really funny actually.

We started practicing on Wednesday the first song.
We auditioned on the same day, and teacher asked us to perform a second song too as it was too "anti-climatic"
We practiced the first and second song on Thursday and performed it for Teacher's Day Sesi Petang on the same day.
The next day we performed it again.

And amazingly, it was ok, considering we only had two days of practice.

Here's a joke I've been telling a few people:

There once were two men digging and planting plants out in a field on a hot day.
One man asked his friend:
"Hey Bob, why is it that we work so hard and get paid so little while our manager sits under the shade, doing nothing and gets paid so much?"
"I'm not sure Joe, I'll go ask him"

So Bob went and asked the manager.
"Sir, why is it that we work so hard and get paid so little while you can sit in the shade and do nothing while getting so much money?"

The manager replied: "It's because I'm smart"
To which Bob asked: "What's the meaning of 'smart'?"

The manager demonstrated.

"I'm going to put my hand on this tree. I want you to take your shovel and hit my hand."

Bob took his shovel and with a powerful swing attempted to hit the manager's hand. The manager removed his hand at the last second and Bob hit the tree.

"That is the meaning of smart." The manager said

And so Bob went to his friend.

"So what did he say?" Joe asked.
"He said it's because he's smart"
"What's the meaning of smart?"

In which Bob took his hand, put it on his face and said:

"Take your shovel and hit my hand"

Pn Asyikin: Ok kelas, saya nak kamu tulis satu esei tentang tokoh yang kamu sanjungi.

Very early in the year that was what we were told to do. On that same day, teacher, in order to make sure we can't copy each other, made us write down the 'tokoh' we were to write about on a piece of paper. No one could have the same tokoh, unfortunately. I put down Tun Dr Ismail.

Luke: Hey Alif, which tokoh are you going to write about?
Alif: Oh, Sami Velu.

?!?!?!?!

Luke: Do you know who Sami Velu is??
Alif: Not really, I just heard about him somewhere.

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry.

Oh well, exams are boring. Geo was incredibly hard this time, and I heard I got 9 wrong. I also heard the four answers I changed last minute were all wrong, so I could have gotten 55/60 instead. Dang.

Thankfully exams are going to be over. Just a few more days.....
