Crawling-Piano version

This is a video I found. It's simply amazing. The song is Crawling by Linkin Park. A guy who is an absolute genius took the song and played in on piano, he made it himself, he did it himself, he played it himself.

Crawling is actually a very hard rock song, but this genius took it and made it into a piano song which is simply amazing while still keeping the original melody.

This is what he said:

"This is in response to a request by J, who thinks that it’s heavy sound will be hard to imitate on piano and was wondering if I was up to the challenge.
Rather than accent it’s heaviness, (except for the end), I went the complete other direction, and softened it up in this interpretation.
It’s actually a very melodic song once you strip away the beats and distortion, and I tried to bring that to the foreground.

This was a lot of fun to put together, and I think you’ll like it too. Easy to play, and lots of room to breathe and emote. I really enjoyed doing this one…and I think it shows. One of my better performances."

In The End....

One thing, I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind
I designed this rhyme when I was obsessed with time
All I know, time was just slipping away
And I watched it count down to the end of the day
Watched it watch me and the words that I say
The echo of the clock rhythm in my veins
I know that I didn't look out below
And I watched the time go right out the window
Tried to grab hold
Tried not to watch
I wasted it all on the hands of the clock
But in the end, no matter what I pretend
The journey is more important than the end or the start
And what it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard

One thing, I don't know how
It doesn't even matter when you look at it now
'Cause when I designed this rhyme
I was scared of it all, scared to fall, and I hadn't even tried to crawl
But I was forced to run with you mocking me, stopping me, backstabbing me constantly
Remembering all the times you fought with me
Watch the clock now chock-full of hipocrisy
But now your mouth wishes it could inhale
Every single little thing you said to make things fail
Every single word you sputtered just to get your piece
But it really doesn't matter to me
'Cause from the start to the end, no matter what I pretend
The journey is more important than the end or the start
And what it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard

I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn't even matter

Futsal tournament.....

Well, a while ago, I participated in a Futsal tournament. At first I was reluctant to join but Jeremy persuaded(forced) me to join, so I did.

My team consisted of Jeremy, Danish, Ryan, Travis (Don't laugh, he might be tubby but he's GOOD) and of course, I. We were named the Red Legends

Well, I'm in a lazy mood, so I'll make a long boring story short.
My team drawed every single match except for 2, in which we lost. We ended up getting last (yay!)

For the first few matches, I was the right defender, Jeremy was the left defender, Ryan was mid-fielder and Danish was striker. Oh yeah, and Travis was goalkeeper. For like, the last 3 matches, we mixed our strategy up. For the third last match, I was goalie for the first half and Travis was goalie for the second half. For the last two matches (which I think were our best), I was goalie for the first half and Jeremy took over the second half, in which I was the mid-field together with Ryan and Travis/Danish.

All in all, I managed to do 1 header, save 3 goals, not let any goals get scored during my time as goalie and run around like mad. Jeremy managed to whack our referee (Cikgu Nasir) with a ball and annoy Cikgu Firdaus..

Man does not come from monkeys, maybe Eugene, but not man in general

Today was an interesting day.
Two girls, one named Kay and another named "Whitney" had a discussion with me. This discussion turned out to be a gigantic debate on Darwin's thoery.
It all started like this, Whit and Kay were talking religion with me. After a bit of discussion, Kay asked me whether I believe in evolution (evolution as in man came from monkeys and apes). And I said no.
Wrong move. After a few minutes of Kay going "How can you not believe in evolution?!?!?!??! Darwin is a genius bla bla bla bla bla.....(I lost her there)" I said my view on evolution. Now, this is my view on evolution.

Guardian's view on evolution and Darwin's theory

It is true that animals changed to adapt to their environment, and human beings most probably changed in appearance and intelligence over millions of years. HOWEVER, man does not come from monkeys or apes or chimpanzees. God created animals and humans differently, humans did not evolve from animals.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, it might not say much, but that's what I believe.
And yes, I am a Christian.

Small phrase from the Horrible History book Evolve or Die :
"But let's get one thing straight. Whatever you might have heard, humans didn't evolve from chimpanzees, gorillas or PE teachers
