More Good Stuff you can find in your mail

Yet another thing my father sent me.

Good Stuff you can find in your mail

I got all this stuff in this post from my father's email which he sent to me.

Tips For A Better Life

Take a 10-30 minute walk every day.. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant

Live with the 3 E's - Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy
Dream more while you are awake

Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is
manufactured in plants.

Try to make at least three people smile each day.

Life isn't fair, but it's still good

Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present

Forgive everyone for everything

Call your family often. (Or email them to death!!!) My father practises what he preach

AAAH Panic! Panic! UPSR results.<---Other people

D-day for some, another dull boring day for others. Things started out scary(something like that) with people showing slight signs of panicking. Then things became utterly boring while waiting for the results. Chess and Batu Seremban were the only things keeping us sane. Jin beat the living daylights out of us (me, Alim and Semreeta) in Batu Seremban....as usual....

Then reccess came. I bought my last Nasi Lemak in the canteen for the rest of the year. They gave a stingy portion of rice but other then that, it was good. Jin bought Mi Hun and photographed Sue eating (which was a very popular thing at that time -- Aloi was doing it too) Jin tried a bit of my Nasi Lemak. Then the boring-ness came back till we went into the hall, in which the fear started to creep in small amounts.

To skip a whole lot of blabbing, I'll just tell the interesting parts.

Puan Latifah started announcing the statistics. After awhile, the results started coming out. Puan Latifah said the results will be announced according to register. Sadly, my name started with not one A, but with two A's. That sucks (and rocks, looking at it differently). People were all looking at me muttering my name. Cikgu Hizwan finally called me. I went up, he shook my hand, handed my the paper slip and congratulated me. I didn't (somewhat)break out in joy till I was back at my place.

Then everyone else got called. Some were crying, some were celebrating. Naeem was crying, giving my the false impression that he didn't get it until he told he got the mark. Sue was crying too, Kay simply ran back to her back with all her "Yes! Yes! Yes!"'s (from what I recalled)

Then we went back to class bla bla bla, where we saw David fighting Xin Yen in chess. After awhile, we we're called to go to our school again (AGAIN!! Gawsh, they should of asked to just stay there) Apperantly, a cameraman and reporter lady had came to late to film the UPSR results spectacle.

Naeem, Ke Hui, Elysa and I were singled out to be interviewed. The entire UPSR results thing was re-done, albeit only some people were called and there wasn't much crying. Later on we stood at stage and were filmed holding our UPSR slips proudly as though we were people who just recieved our results a few seconds ago. Afterwards, Naeem, Ke Hui, Elysa and I frantically prepared our words. We were asked two questions:

1) How do you feel about your results? (Happy, duh. Who'd be sad when you got 5A's!?)
2) What do you think about Maths and Science being thought in English? (Of course la, it's better. BM is a nice language, but it strongly resembles English but is slightly less effective at conveying your thoughts)

Naeem was hopeless as he kept on laughing halfway. Ke Hui began shaky but then gained momentum and really made one heck of a speech. After interviewing Ke Hui, the reporter lady patted her on her head and said 'So cute la you!'. Ke Hui later on jumped up and down saying "I'm not cute!!!! Not cute!!!" Of course, that was once the reporter lady had gone. That girl has so much energy for a kid. Elysa did well. She talked as though she was talking with a friend. Nothing spectacular, but better then the average kid.

Everything else is foggy for now. All I can remember from now is:

A)I went back home
B)Watched TV at 7 and 8 O'clock to see the interview
C)Gosok gigi, tidur.

Next up: Hari Anugerah Cemerlang. Gawsh, this is seriously sounding like a diary.

Prize Giving Rehearsals

Nothing much here. I didn't win a prize, I was simply the dude who had to carry things up and down. It sucks, at least the other dudes got to sit down properly without having to move their rumps every few seconds. Nothing interesting here actually.

But, the real interesting parts were the things happening in class. Navin and Jin starred in a "short film (I.E, two people kiling each other)" filmed by Xin Yen. It was quite funny. Sure, it lacked proper choreography and realisticness, but it was good considering the circumstances. We did some photo shoots, experimenting with different poses and other things. One of them included throwing shreds of paper into the air as the picture was being taken. Teacher intervened and ask to clean it up. Later. After all, it was our last few days of school.

Another pose was jumping in the air as the pic was being taken. I took one pic (and it was perfect, but some nutter decided to walk in front of the camera as it was being taken. Sadly, that nutter was my standard 5 friend.)

Oh well, next up: UPSR results. Too long to fit in this post.

*Sob* There goes the end of school.....

A few days ago, we were happily playing chess and watching Jin beat the heck out of us in Batu Seramban (Well, atleast I was getting beaten to death), now, we're leaving school....

Oh well, the last few days were (somewhat) hectic, in a way. We had our Jamuan Tahun 6, Prize Giving rehearsals, UPSR results and, well that's all I guess.

Jamuan Tahun 6

Everything taste good when you're hungry That has never been so true till now. After waiting 1 hour+, we were finally served our long-waited KFC. Which was cold. And tasted terrible. Unless you're one starving kid who hasn't eaten breakfast and reccess and happens to have a terrible nose problem that makes him gain appetite. Even with my appetite, I was one of the last to finish. Oh well, I'm a slow eater when it comes to cold-horrible chicken. It didn't taste bad until you lost your sense of hungriness. Then you start to notice that it taste a bit odd.

After stuffing the chicken down our throats, we mingled around for awhile. Navin had invented a new drink which included mixing every single drink being served into one cup. I took his advice. And the drink tasted (marvellous, simply delightful, amazing, heavenly, awesome) good. My fried rice was finished quickly (yay!!) with the help of Cikgu Ismail promoting it as "Nasi Goreng Cina" every few seconds. Still, it couldn't compete with the famous "Nasi Lemak Melayu" which finished in a matter of minutes (not including time needed to finish KFC)

One thing that amazed me was the amount of soft drinks brought for the Jamuan. If you asked me to estimate the number of drinks, I'd say 50, but since we have to be realistic, I'd say around 30. Still that's alot of soft drinks. Atleast 8-10 bottles were left behind, un-opened and full to the brim. A lot of food was left behind too. What a waste man....

Afterwards, I had a serious stomach ache, which is quite unusual since I only ate the KFC, a packet of mummy monster and drank Navin's super drink (which by the way, I mixed myself, I simply took Navin's advice).

This is getting to long- I'll continue it in another post
