At last, the lazy blogger has come back to his job of blogging. (I wouldn't have done this, unless that guy/girl named some1 asked me to. Thanks, unknown person.)
Holidays are boring. So boring in fact, that there's nothing particularly interesting to blog about.
Well let me tell of the things before the holidays.
First, there's public speaking. It was meant to be a "competition" but it wasn't. It was a mock competition to see whether there were any potential public speakers for training. Everyone expected a good turn-out rate. However, by everyone I meant by Pn. Tan, Alim and I together with the three other participants from Teratai, Brian, Lu Zhong and Niesha.
Looking at the fact that there was so little people participating, and the fact that some had stage fright (Which makes me come to the question: Is that possible with only five people watching you?), and the fact that it was impromptu, I have a feeling Alim and I are getting in. Especially Alim (The Professional).
Anyway, here's something interesting I read,
Concepts such as yin and yang argue that evil and good are complementary opposites within a greater whole. If one disappears, the other must disappear as well, leaving emptiness.
Compassion, a valuable virtue, can only exist if there is suffering. Bravery only exists if we sometimes face danger. Self-sacrifice is another great good, but can only exist if there is inter-dependence, if some people find themselves in situations where they need help from others.
